Small enough to listen.
Big enough to deliver.

WHO WE ARE

Small enough to listen. Big enough to deliver.

McIntyre Brothers began operations as a family-owned business in 1954 in Bedford, Indiana. For three generations we’ve grown in our capacity and capability to handle big and challenging jobs while staying small enough to listen. We’re still locally based and family owned, but with a much larger scope of operations and multiple, concurrent projects under management.

While we specialize in below-grade and civil work for public utility substation construction, we’re equally at home serving blue-chip customers such as the U.S. Armed Forces, GM and municipalities in the tri-state region, with the expertise, crews and equipment to sole source 95 percent of projects.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Giving the best for what matters most.

Giving our best for our customers.

For us, it’s not about being the biggest; it’s about making our customers successful and helping them navigate complex and challenging projects with trust and accountability. We understood early in our history that if we could achieve this, growth would naturally follow. We’ve built our reputation on this principle for nearly 70 years, and our customer relationships are proof that it’s the right way to do business.

Taking care of what matters most.

We firmly believe that people are our company’s most valuable asset. We employ more than 50 professionals and skilled tradesmen, including electricians, carpenters, pipefitters, sheet metal fabricators, equipment operators, laborers, millwrights and iron workers. They’re the heart and soul of our company, and their health and safety is our top priority.
